About the Owner; Emma
Hello! :) I’m Emma, the founder of MilaTerra Landscapes.

I started my business at 18, driven by a deep love for the land and a desire to bring organic, native beauty into everyday spaces. Now 23, I’ve spent years learning from hands-on work—first in a garden center, where I developed strong knowledge of tropical plants and long-term native plant care, and later on an organic farm, where I learned to raise Texas-native species and crops from seed to harvest.
MilaTerra’s name reflects my Slavic roots—“Mila” meaning beloved, and “terra” meaning earth—a reminder that every garden deserves to be nurtured with care, respect, and connection. I’m currently studying to become a certified arborist, expanding my expertise so I can continue offering sustainable, knowledgeable tree and landscape care.
Coming from a military family, integrity, hard work, and respect guide everything I do. My mission is simple: create landscapes that are healthy, resilient, and deeply loved.
